FERPA Compliance

Eigo Ganbare respects the rights of students and educators under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). While we do not collect or maintain any student education records on behalf of educational institutions, we are committed to data privacy and take steps to:

Avoid collecting personally identifiable information (PII) of students unless strictly necessary.

Note to Educators: If you are using Eigo Ganbare resources in a classroom setting:

We do not require or request student data to access our teaching materials.
It is your responsibility to ensure any use of third-party tools in conjunction with Eigo Ganbare complies with FERPA regulations.

COPPA Compliance

In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Our website and resources are intended for use by teachers and adult educators.
We do not offer services directly to children under 13.
Any interactive features (e.g., comments, submissions) are intended for adult users only.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

No account creation is required to access teaching materials

Educators’ Role in Protection

Educators using Eigo Ganbare are responsible for:

Ensuring any submitted student work or references are anonymous
